Founded in 1988, TexCare produces a range of unique products that keep your clothes far better than previously seen. TexCare has a retail network of clothing stores, dry cleaners and leather goods stores all over Denmark.
However, if you live far from a retailer, or do you prefer to buy in TexCare Webshop, you have here this easy option, so that the goods are delivered to your door or to a pick-up point of your choice from DAO or PostDanmark – delivered if you are home to sign, or to the nearest parcel delivery point.
TexCare Webshop is SSL secured. SSL Encrypts the data traffic between texcare.dk webshop and our visitors, so that no one can hack card information or other sensitive information that is entered on the TexCare website. Your information is processed securely and confidentially when you enter the name, address, or card information on texcare.dk.
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security certificate, protects user communication between the server visited by the user and the users' Internet browser.
Any website and webshop on which personal information is handled must, according to legislation in Denmark, ensure that this information is protected by a security certificate.
Handling and shipping. Immediately after ordering, you will receive a confirmation in your mailbox.
TexCare delivers the goods free of charge when you buy for 178 kr or more.
For purchases under DKK 178, you pay DKK 38 in postage with DAO and DKK 48 with PostDanmark.
You will be notified regularly by email or SMS of where your package is and when and where your package can be picked up.
Lead time. We will deliver your order immediately. Usually the package comes the next day, and a maximum of 2 days. This also applies during the Covid-19 crisis. You decide if the package comes to the door, etter for pickup in the nearest parcel shop.
Backorder. This almost never happens, but if an item is not in stock, it will be backordered for delivery as soon as possible. In this case, you will be contacted by email with the option to delete the order instead of waiting for the item to return home.

The Consumer Council recommends using payment cards online only, rather than bank transfers, as the consumer is simply best protected when paying by debit card.
We use PBS certified PaymentGateway. This means that the data you send can only be read by PBS. The payment gateway is an electronic cash register that provides card authentication, and SSL encrypted transfer of amounts. The Payment Gateway meets the latest security requirements, even beyond the transaction itself, such as Firewall, virus protection, and more. The Payment Gateway uses 128-bit SSL encryption of card and account information and is in principle unbreakable. Since SSL 128 bit encryption is the latest security standard, this may result in a transaction not being possible if an older browser version is used.
When you pay by debit card online, you are not liable for abuse. You have the option to decline a payment when you receive your payment history. You have no deductible in the event that your card is misused in an Internet store that uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) in its payment system. This means that you are better secured than in the physical world, where you have a deductible of DKK 1200 if your credit card is misused using the PIN.
The amount of your purchase will not be deducted until the order is resended. You will always receive an order confirmation by email and a larger amount can never be deducted than what you approved at the time of purchase.
Credit Secured by Nets: For amounts over DKK 450, you will be sent an SMS code to be entered on purchase, unless you have previously filled in: "Recurring Customer" on the webshop – the same page where you usually insert your name and address. Then we remember you, so you avoid waiting for SMS code and inserting it into the form. This is only necessary the first time you buy TexCare.

Control digits
The control digits are a three-digit code used to increase security when paying by card on the Internet as well as over the phone. The code, also known as CW code (Visa) or Mastercard/Eurocard (CVC) code, is printed in the signature box on the back of your card. The code is based on a mathematical algorithm based on the card number and expiration date. If the code is entered correctly, it indicates that the card is genuine.
TexCare does not store the information you enter for control digits. To learn more about control digits, ask your bank or card issuer.
Right of complaint. TexCare provides a 2-year warranty under the Danish Sale of Goods Act, including manufacturing and material defects found during the normal use of the product(s). The right of complaint does not cover errors or damages, directly or indirectly caused by improper use, where instructions for use have not been followed. Complaint about defects that should be detected after short use of the item, usually 14 days / max 2 months must be notified TexCare in writing by mail. The item can subsequently be returned for exchange or, by agreement, credited. In connection with complaints, TexCare bears return costs to a reasonable extent.
For any damaged items. If the goods are damaged during the shipment, please address the complaint to PostDanmark. If the package is visibly damaged, the complaint must be made within a maximum of 2 days, in the event of non-visible damage within 7 days of receipt.
Lack of delivery. Should it happen that the package does not arrive at expected time, please contact TexCare, who will immediately check that the item has been shipped in a timely manner from here, and then to PostDanmark if the delay has occurred during transport.
The complaint right via ODR, which from 9 January 2017 is a new online complaints body, should make it easier for consumers shopping across borders to process a complaint about an online purchase.
If you want to complain about your purchase, you must first contact TexCare. If, contrary to expectations, we do not manage to find a solution, you can lodge a complaint with the Center for Complaint Resolution in The House of Boards, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, in www.forbrug.dk.)

Right of withdrawal. If you regret the purchase of an item, it can be returned. If within 14 days of receiving the package in writing (mail/letter) you send an unequivocal message to TexCare that you have regretted the deal, you can return the item to our above address within another 14 days in the same condition and quantity as you received it. You pay for the return. If the item is put into service or if the value is impaired on return, TexCare is entitled to deduct the amount from the original price of the item that the impairment is deemed to represent. The buyer bears the risk of return if the item does not arrive in undistinible condition.
You must include information that allows us to identify you. That is, you must remember to enter your name, address and phone number, and provide your bank's registration and account number so that we can transfer the money to you. Once the item has been returned and approved, we will credit the price of the item.
If the item disappears or becomes damaged during shipment, upon return, you bear the risk of it.
The buyer cannot exercise his right of withdrawal by refusing to pick up or receive the item only when it arrives. At the same time, you must make a written notice of withdrawal (email or letter)
The customer bears the risk of the item during the return to TexCare. This means that if the item disappears or becomes damaged along the way, TexCare will not refund the purchase price unless the item still has a sales value.
Venue. Any dispute involving TexCare is governed by Danish law, with the court in Randers, Denmark, as the first court, unless mandatory legislation requires otherwise. This also applies to sales abroad, Greenland and the Faroe Islands.
