TexCare® Silkwash

is a nurturing special detergent without enzymes for washing natural silk, raw silk, and Thai silk. Proteins plus the product's entire composition give silk a delicious fullness and softness. Preserves the colors of both sand-washed silk and silk in strong colors.

INSTRUCTIONS:
For hand washing: 2 teaspoons to 5 liters of water. Avoid soaking, but squeeze the soapy water through the fabric a few times. Then rinse 1-2 times in clean water.

For machine washing: Use 2 tablespoons. Set the machine to 40°C and preferably on a delicate program.
Avoid filling the machine too much. After washing, roll the clothes in a towel. Iron at 150°C while still damp. Iron inside out to avoid ironing marks on the right side. Avoid fabric softener. Avoid drying in sunlight.

For difficult stains: Apply a little TexCare® Silkwash to the stain without rubbing and let it sit for a maximum of 30 minutes. Then wash the entire garment.
Note: Some types of silk have very low color fastness.
Always test the fabric's colorfastness before spot cleaning by applying TexCare® Silkwash to an invisible area.

ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION:
The active washing ingredients are plant-based and have been tested for complete biodegradability using screening test OECD 302 B. The test results show that the ingredients are in the best category: Readily biodegradable. The low dosage minimizes the impact on the environment.
